Managing the Proof Checklists

This article is intended to guide GoProof Admin users on how to manage the proof checklists created in the account.
The Checklist Management page offers a centralised platform for creating, organising and assigning proof checklists. These checklists streamlines the review process, ensuring consistency, reducing errors, and enhancing collaboration by allowing GoProof Admins to easily manage and customise checklists for different Teams or Projects.

1. Login to your GoProof account and go to the Profile Menu.

2. Select the Checklist option. You will be redirected to the checklist management page.

3. From the checklist management page, you can create, edit, duplicate or delete any of your proof checklists.

Managing Options
  • Create - use this option by clicking on the Create button to create a new proof checklist.
  • Edit - use this option by double-clicking on an existing proof checklist to open it for editing. You can update the name and the assigned Team or Project, add or remove items/tasks, hide or unhide items/tasks or even rearrange the checklist groups.
  • Duplicate - use this option by clicking on the ellipsis button of your selected proof checklist and select Duplicate in the sub-options to copy it. You can edit the checklist copy before making it active for your Proof senders to use.
  • Delete - use this option by clicking on the ellipsis button of your selected proof checklist and select Delete in the sub-options to remove it from your list of checklists.

Pro tip! When you edit a checklist that has already been used by the Proof senders, the changes you have made will only be applicable to new proofs sent with this updated checklist. In addition, deleting a checklist will not remove them from the proofs that was already sent with that checklist.

  • Search - use the Search field to search a collection of checklist using specific terms or keywords. This is useful if you have a lot of proof checklists already created in the system.
  • Sort header - click on the column headers to sort your checklist in ascending or descending order.
