This article is intended to guide Proof Senders on how to add a checklist to the proof when sending to the Collaborators.
Including a checklist in the proof is advantageous for Collaborators, as it enables them to concentrate on the review process and optimise their workflow. With the tailored and detailed checklists, they can easily track and mark off items before approving the proof or returning it to the Proof sender for revisions.
Before proceeding, ensure that you know how to send a proof. If in doubt, please visit this link for guidance.
1. When a checklist is made available to the Team or Project you are sending the proof from, the Checklist step will be added to the proof sending process.
2. Select a checklist in the list provided.
3. Proceed to the next step to confirm the sending of your proof to the Collaborators.
Pro tip! Depending on the settings configured in the checklist by its creator, it may require the Collaborators to complete the entire checklist before taking any further actions, such as approving the work or sending it back to the Proof sender for changes. This ensures that all necessary information is reviewed in its entirety before moving forward with the approval or revision process.
Approvalsetting - a completed checklist is required before a proof can be approved. If it is not completed when the Approve button is clicked, a warning prompt will appear informing them to do so.
Request changessetting - a completed checklist is required before a proof can be sent back to the Proof sender. If it is not completed when the Request Changes button is clicked, a warning prompt will appear informing them to do so.
If you are unsure on which checklist to choose for your proof, please contact your company's GoProof Admin or your GoProof Project Manager.
