Using the Text Selection comment type on PDF proofs

Easily select, highlight, and suggest text edits in PDF proofs. You can add comments, replace or remove text, and apply formatting for clear, actionable feedback—all in just a click!

1. Navigate to the PDF proof you want to review.

2. Click on the Add comment button and select Text selection.

3. The Text Selection mode prompt should appear.

4. Highlight the text you wish to add a comment to suggest changes.

5. Select from the following options:

Add Comment – Attach feedback or instructions to the selected text.

Highlight – Emphasise important sections for clarity.

Replace – Suggest alternative text for the selected section.

Remove – Indicate text that should be deleted.

Bold / Italic / Underline – Apply formatting changes to refine content.

6. Alternatively, click on the area where you want to suggest text to be inserted and add a comment for feedback or instructions.

7. Click Submit to save changes.
