Using the Smart Compare tool

Quickly identify even the slightest changes between proof versions using the Smart Compare tools. The system automatically highlights edits and detects differences, ensuring no detail is missed during the approval process. This streamlined comparison of previous and current versions minimizes the risk of overlooked changes and costly errors.

1. Open a proof.

2. Click on the History tab to see all previous versions of your proof.

3. Select the version you want to compare with the current one. Click the Side-by-Side Compare icon beside the previous version.

4. Once both versions are visible in the new window, click on the Smart Compare button. This tool will automatically highlight differences between the two versions.

5. Choose a colour for highlighting the differences between the two versions. This will make the changes easy to identify.

6. Toggle the Image Colours setting on or off depending on whether you wish to include image colour differences in the comparison.

7. Enable the Show Differences option to display highlighted changes. You can disable this setting if you prefer not to see the differences in real time.
