The Proof Tools Panel provides essential tools for reviewing and analysing proofs. The Codes tool easily locates and highlight QR codes and Barcodes in your proofs. You can activate the tool with a button, and it will scan the page, showing you where the codes are. You’ll also see a list of all the detected codes, and if you click on one, it will automatically copy the code’s content to your clipboard. This makes it super simple to grab information from QR codes or barcodes, and it works in both single-page and 2-page views.
1. Open the proof and click on the Tools icon in the Proofing toolbar. The Page size area automatically displays the proof’s width, height, and DPI for easy reference.
2. Enable the codes tool and it will scan any QR or Barcodes in the page in view.
3. If there is any available, the QR or Barcodes link will be displayed in the tools panel and will also be highlighted in the proofing area.
4. Click on the highlighted QR or Barcode to display the following options: Copy code to clipboard, Open in new tab and Create a comment.
5. Choosing the Create a comment option will open the Add comment text field area for you to complete.
